Knitted art, crafted with history

We are a Peruvian fashion brand that combines contemporary design, natural fibers, and craftsmanship.

Meet us

At Clio, we believe in fashion inspired by purpose. We design and create timeless ieces for women, handcrafted with natural fibers such as baby alpaca, pima otton, and luxury blends, celebrating Peruvian textile artistry. Each garment arises from a mix of contemporary design and tradition, crafted to accompany its wearers for many years. We work on a small scale, with care for our processes and the impact we generate. Each garment is born from a dialogue between contemporary design and tradition, and seeks to accompany those who wear it for many years. We work on a small scale, with care for the processes and the impactwe generate.

Since our beginnings, we have built close relationships with knitting communities and workshops across Peru. Through these partnerships, we promote local economic development, decent work, and the transmission of ancestral knowledge. For us, creating fashion is also a way to preserve history, care for the planet, and generate real opportunities for the women behind each garment.

OUR COMMITMENTS

At Clio, every decision is born out of respect: for the people, the materials, and the environment around us. These commitments guide our path and reflect what we believe in: conscious fashion with purpose and roots.

COMMUNITIES THAT INSPIRE

We collaborate with artisan producers and workshops across diverse regions of Peru, promoting decent work, the economic inclusion of women, and the appreciation of handmade craftsmanship. We believe in long-term, fair, and transparent relationships.

RESPECT FOR THE PLANET

We select natural fibers and prioritize responsible processes at every stage: from design and material selection to packaging and the creative use of leftover yarns. We are committed to sustainable fashion.

CLOTHING THAT LASTS

We design timeless collections, made to last, to be cared for and cherished. We steer clear of disposables and focus on the actual value of handmade pieces crafted with intention and aesthetic appeal.

OUR FOUNDER

Jessica Salazar

Jessica is the founder and CEO of Clio. Through the brand, she seeks to revalorize Peruvian alpaca and cotton and to contribute to the economic development of knitting communities across Peru. Each garment is a celebration of Peruvian textile art and handmade work.

Before becoming an entrepreneur, Jessica worked at JP Morgan in New York, as well as at Procter & Gamble and Interbank in Lima. She studied Economics at the Universidad del Pacífico and earned an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth (USA).

Each collection reflects her vision of conscious fashion, made to last and connect with those who seek garments with history, purpose, and beauty.
